Olly Stone concedes England call-up was 'insane' after long-haul damage lay-off

Olly Stone says his adventure into the England group, by means of an 18-month lay-off with genuine knee damage, has been "insane" and "a blessing from heaven".

The 25-year-old quick bowler made his universal presentation on Saturday in England's triumph over Sri Lanka in the second of their five one-day matches.

He infused some genuinely necessary pace into the knocking down some pins assault, topping 90mph now and again, and required only seven conveyances to get his first wicket. It topped a momentous recuperation for Stone, who just made his arrival from ACL damage a year ago, and he even has his sights on one year from now's World Cup.
